Greater Bay Airlines (GBA) is expanding its reach in Mainland China by adding new routes to Huangshan starting in December. The route between Hong Kong and Huangshan Tunxi International Airport will be run three times a week: Wednesdays, Fridays, as well as Sundays.

Greater Bay Airlines to launch direct flights to Huangshan, China

The scheduled service to Huangshan in Anhui Province will be available starting December 4, 2024. The flights will depart from Hong Kong at around 17:00 on Wednesdays and Fridays, reaching Huangshan in two hours at 19:00. On Sundays, the departure and arrival times will be 9:25 and 11:25, respectively.
As for flights operating from Huangshan to Hong Kong, the departure and arrival timings will be 20:15 and 22:30 on Wednesdays and Fridays. Meanwhile, on Sundays, the flight will leave at 12:15 and reach at 14:25.

Earlier in November, the airline launched its first-ever flight service to a city in Mainland China, with direct flights to Zoushan. Greater Bay operates flights between Hong Kong and Bangkok, Taipei, Seoul, Tokyo, Osaka as well as Manila. It also recently expanded its footprint in Japan with flights to three new cities: Yonago, Tokushima, and Sendai.
