HK Express launches Intermodal Pass between Hong Kong and Zhuhai
Passengers can complete flight check-in using the upstream service. They can obtain boarding passes at the Zhuhai Port of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao-Bridge. Travellers can also get their baggage checked to the final destination before hopping on a quick 45-minute ride to the Hong Kong International Airport.
There will be no further immigration, customs clearance, and boarding procedures. Passengers can simply enjoy efficient arrival at the airport terminal. From there, they can board HK Express flights to their respective destinations.
Travellers with the Pass will automatically gain exemption from the Airport Passenger Departure Tax. This is because the luggage has already been checked through the final destination ahead of time. Furthermore, there will be no additional checked baggage fees for ferry or shuttle transfers. In case passengers miss a connecting flight, ferry, or cross-border bus, they can automatically rebook the next available service.
Hong Kong to Zhuhai Port service is available from 9 am to 10 pm with 12 shuttles per day. Meanwhile, Zhuhai Port to Hong Kong service runs from 10 am to 7 pm with 10 shuttles per day. The upgraded Intermodal Pass extends to Zhuhai Port, which is fully connected to five major cities in the Greater Bay Area. These cities are Zhuhai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhongsan, and Dongguan.
Purchase the Intermodal Pass through the official HK Express website, mobile app, or WeChat mini-app.
