Here’s some good news for Hongkongers who love travelling to Japan. Travellers from the city can now enjoy direct flights to Shizuoka in Japan via HK Express, starting December 17. There will be three weekly flight services to Mount Fuji Shizuoka Airport (FSZ), making it the first direct service between both cities.
The launch of the budget air carrier’s 11th destination in Japan also marks its 11th anniversary. This follows the recent announcement of routes to Hiroshima and Sendai. Shizuoka is the third Japanese destination from HK Express this year. Keep reading to find out more details about the route.
HK Express expands its Japan network with direct flights to Shizuoka
Thanks to the upcoming direct flight from HK Express, Hongkongers can now get to Shizuoka in just over three hours. To mark the new route, HK Express is introducing a limited-time offer for Lite fares as low as HKD 110 one way. It includes one small personal item and one cabin baggage. The offer is available for trips anytime between December 17, 2024, and March 29, 2025. To enjoy this special rate, simply make a booking at the HK Express website or mobile app.
Services from Hong Kong to Shizuoka will be available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Flights will depart Hong Kong at 9:15 am on Tuesdays and Thursdays and 8:55 am on Saturdays. Meanwhile, flights returning to Hong Kong will operate at 2:45 pm on all days.
