Greater Bay Airlines is expanding its footprint with the launch of direct flights to Zhoushan in China. The new route will be available starting November 7 and will operate three times a week between Hong Kong and Zhoushan Putuoshan International Airport.
This is the airline’s first flight service from Hong Kong to a city in Mainland China. Keep reading to find out more details.
Greater Bay Airlines to offer flights to Zhoushan starting November
Service from Hong Kong to Zhoushan will operate on Monday, Thursday and Saturday. The flights will depart Hong Kong at 3:05 pm and 5:20 pm on Mondays and Saturdays, and 9:35 am and 11:50 pm on Thursdays. Returning flights will be available on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday as well. Flights from Zhoushan will depart at 6:10 pm and 8:40 pm on Mondays and Saturdays and at 12:40 pm and 3:10 pm on Thursdays.

Greater Bay Airlines operates flights between Hong Kong and Bangkok, Taipei, Seoul, Tokyo, Osaka and Manila. Most recently, it also announced that it will launch new flight routes to three new cities in Japan: Yonago, Tokushima, and Sendai.

Explore the Zhejiang Province via Zhoushan
Zhoushan is a city in Zhejiang Province with over 1,300 islands. This includes Zhoushan Main Island, the fourth largest island in China. Furthermore, it is also home to Putoushan, one of the four sacred Buddhist mountains in the country.
