Amidst all the art events during Hong Kong Arts Month, why don’t you sit down at Dada Bar + Lounge and try out its “Silver Screen Sips”? Inspired by Hong Kong’s cinema culture, the new menu offers cocktails and nostalgic movie snacks.
Featuring four movie-inspired cocktails and four bar snacks, “Silver Screen Sips” at Dada Bar + Lounge will transport you back to the golden age of Hong Kong cinema. Immerse yourselves in the artistic atmosphere of the Dadaist bar at The Luxe Manor and relive the memories of watching the Hong Kong classics.
If you miss munching on hot sugarcanes wrapped in a paper bag while watching your favourite movies, then try out the Cane Crash, which brings a nostalgic sugarcane twist to the classic Mojito. Dreamlike Inebriation mimics the Chinese goddess of oblivion’s mythical potion, served in a vintage Chinese teacup with homemade preserved prune vodka, ginger juice, and Pu’er tea.
Other drinks include the Lighthouse as depicted in Wong Kar-Wai’s Happy Together (1997) where whiskey and Pu’er tea are mixed with peach, lime, and cinnamon, as well as the Canned Golden Pineapple, which provides a lighter option with refreshing, fruity notes. Each cocktail is priced at HK$128 and can be paired with the Honey BBQ Pork Skewer, Salted Egg Calamari, Drunken Chicken Roll, or the Hong Kong Egg waffles for a set of HK$238.
