Carlyle & Co. invites Singapore’s 28 HongKong Street for a two-day takeover in June

Singapore’s favourite speakeasy 28 HongKong Street is set to grace our city once again. This time, Carlyle & Co. are inviting Head Bartender Tamaryn Cooper and Floor Manager Lin Balasundaram to take over the bar for two nights in June, wrapping up the club’s third-anniversary celebrations.

Carlyle & Co. is marking its third anniversary with almost three weeks of exciting events and experiences, starting from May 20 until June 7, the date of the anniversary. Members will get to enjoy wine-and-dine events with guest chefs, live performances at Café Carlyle, and private discussions with artists and illustrators as a celebration of the community.

As the final event in the club’s weeks-long festivities, 28 Hong Kong Street will be joining the Carlyle staff behind the bar on June 6 and 7. Regarded as one of Singapore’s best-known cocktail venues and one of the most awarded bars in Asia’s history, the guest team will be bringing its selection of craft cocktails to Carlyle & Co. Members.

Among those cocktails are Nonna’s Spiked Pie, a drink that tastes like dessert with its apple pie rye, Campari, and sweet vermouth. A more refreshing cocktail will also be available in the form of the Pineapple Express to Mango Madness, which features pineapple rum and lacto mango cordial to brighten up your day.

The two-night guest bar shift with 28 HongKong Street at Carlyle & Co. will be available to the club’s Members from June 6 to 7. In the spirit of celebration, non-Members can also partake in this event on an enquiry basis via e-mail.
