To save Hong Kongers from the burning heat, Mother Pearl is launching a summer drinks series named Pearls of Summer with colours inspired by artist Elsa Jeandedieu. Moreover, the brand is giving away free travel vouchers to Japan and more. Keep reading to find out about the new series and the giveaway.
As Hong Kong’s first home-grown plant-based pearl tea, Mother Pearl always prioritises health and nutrition. All drinks are thoughtfully crafted and formulated by nutritionists and experts. This summer, the brand is promoting new seasonal drinks made from fresh juice and a healthy version of machi.
Pearls of Summer
Under the new seasonal series Pearls of Summer, Mother Pearl is relaunching its bestselling Guava Gabrielle drink (HK$54 for Petite, HK$60 for Regular) in 2022. Following the recent “machi” trend, the brand is launching the new Pistachio Penelope (HK$50 for Petite, HK$56 for Regular) and Mango Madison (HK$54 for Petite and HK$60 for Regular) made with zero-calorie and sugar-free machi. Instead of sugar, the sweet taste comes from allulose.
Not only that, but the colourful drinks are also bright and striking. The colours were inspired by mural artist Elsa Jeandedieu, whose creations have used the colours of Hong Kong’s landscape. As a result, the new drinks demonstrate vibrant colours and a blend of textures from the fruits and machi.
The Pearls of Summer drinks debut at the Mother Pearl Central store on July 12 with a summer soiree. At the same time, a mural painted by Elsa Jeandedieu will be shown to the public at the store to celebrate the launch of the new Pearls of Summer series.
Trip to Japan giveaway
Mother Pearl is also hosting a giveaway this summer. An array of prizes are available, with the grand prize being a trip to Japan for two. To join the giveaway, simply scan the QR code on the mural or the dancers’ shirts during the summer soiree. Then, join the Mother Pearl membership and follow the brand on Instagram. Finally, post a picture of yourself at the mural and tag the brand’s Instagram account with the hashtag #pearlofsummergiveaway. Additionally, every HK$120 purchase at Mother the brand is equivalent to one entry in the giveaway, increasing your chances of winning.
The giveaway will run from July 12 until August 12 and the winner will be notified within seven days after the giveaway ends. Selection of the winner will be based on the creativity of their Instagram story with the mural. The prize includes two travel vouchers to Japan, each worth HK$3,000 that must be booked and used by November 30. The travel voucher can be used to fly to Tokyo or another city of the winner’s choice.
