Known for its delicious food, funky retro decor, and good vibes, Ho Lee Fook has brought life and energy to Soho’s Elgin Street for the last decade.
As the contemporary Cantonese restaurant celebrates its 10 year anniversary this October, it recognizes the people and dishes that have made it the icon it is today. On October 2, previous head chef Jowett Yu joins Ho Lee Fook 2.0’s Chef ArChan to bring back some of the most beloved dishes that define the restaurant’s decade-long journey — as well as a few new surprises.
In 2021, the restaurant was redone from top to bottom, with interiors reimagined by renowned designer Sean Dix to be plush and elegant. While the iconic waving lucky cats and dynamic energy of the restaurant remain, Ho Lee Fook traded its mysterious edge for a grown-up movie set look featuring solid mahogany wood tables, upholstered dining chairs, vintage wallpaper, and artwork from celebrated artists including photographer Cang Xin.
Under the guidance of Chef ArChan, the restaurant has continued to “redefine what it means to be Cantonese and proud,” simultaneously serving as an homage to the past, present, and future. Join the restaurant on October 2 (for 1 night only) as they toast to “ten woking good years.
