After three years of serving Hong Kong, contemporary Italian cicchetti Posso is closing its doors in Kau U Fong. Led by Chef-owner Max Wong, the restaurant has been a well-loved hidden gem in the neighbourhood. Its last day of service will be on November 1.
For the past three years, Posso has served the neighbourhood with honest Italian fare and artisanal handmade pasta. Now, the team is bidding farewell to the F&B scene as it closes its doors. Currently, there is no news on whether a new location is in the books. However, Chef Wong welcomes any future collaboration opportunities and creations.
Posso team announces its closing
Chef Wong and his team at Posso announced the restaurant’s closing in an emotional farewell letter. “As we pen this letter, our hearts are heavy with emotion. After three beautiful years serving you here at Posso, it is time for us to say goodbye, our last day of operation will be 1st November, 2024,” they write. “It marks the dawn of new adventures. This decision has not come lightly, as every moment we’ve shared together has enriched our lives and filled our hearts with joy.
“From our very first day, our dream was to create a warm and welcoming space where delicious Italian cicchetti could bring people together. We have cherished every laugh, every toast, and every story shared over our tables. Each of you has played a vital role in our journey, and we are endlessly grateful for your unwavering support, encouragement, and camaraderie.”
