Wa-En Kappo, known as the “finest view Kappo restaurant,” welcomes the hairy crab season with its new autumn menu. Here, the hairy crabs meet Japanese dishes to create a seafood masterpiece infused with Wa-En’s signature style. Chef Masaki Nishioka has also handpicked the freshest Japanese seafood to join the menu alongside the crabs.

Highlights from the new Wa-En Kappo autumn menu

In the new autumn menu, diners can enjoy a 9-course dinner menu priced at HK$1,680 per person. The menu includes all sorts of Japanese delights, from tempura and sashimi to Wagyu beef and rice with silver salmon. Of course, the highlight of the menu is the Hairy Crab with Black Vinegar Jelly. In this dish, the Jiangsu delicacy meets kaiseki craftsmanship for a refreshing and indulgent dish like no other. Other highlights include the Tempura Shark Fin and the dessert, Sweet Potato & Smoked Butter, Monaka.

Aside from the standard 9-course menu, there’s also an 8-course option for HK$1,480 per person. For more indulgence, try the 10-course option for HK$1,880 per person.

Throughout October, Wa-En Kappo is offering exclusive deals for its guests. All menus are “Buy 3 Get 1 Free,” including the autumn menu. It’s also applicable to the lunch menu, which is originally priced at HK$480 per person. With this deal, it averages around HK$360 per person, making it even more affordable.

Additionally, with any purchase of the dinner set menu, customers can add a Wagyu hand roll for only HK$1.
