With over a century of history in Hong Kong, Jimmy’s Kitchen has established itself as one of the most iconic dining spots in the city. Now a few months after its re-opening, the restaurant is slowly returning to its former glory. The famous Weekend Roast and several classic dishes will be making a grand return. Diners can also start their day at the restaurant with the new Breakfast menu, or stop by a mid-day mood booster with the Afternoon Tea menu.

Jimmy’s Kitchen introduces new menus

The highlight is the re-entrance of the crowd-favourite Weekend Roast. For HK$648 per person, diners can enjoy the three-course Jimmy’s Prime Rib Set. The star of the show is a slow-roasted Australian Wagyu prime rib with a side of Yorkshire pudding, whipped potatoes, and creamed corn. Customers can also choose a luxurious sauce like king crab bearnaise, foie gras butter, or truffle butter for an additional HK$108.

On weekday mornings (8 a.m. – 10 a.m.), enjoy the new Jimmy’s Breakfast menu. The Blueberry Skillet Pancake (HK$178) and Banana Skillet Pancake (HK$178) are perfect if you’re looking to start the day with a bit of sweetness. For something more savoury, try the Buttermilk Skillet Pancake (HK$168) with salted butter, maple syrup, and smoked bacon. The Crispy Brown Butter Eggs (HK$138), where three fried eggs meet brown butter, Iberico ham, smoked sardines, and sage, is also a great choice.

Stop by the restaurant on weekday afternoons (3 p.m. – 5 p.m.) for the Jimmy’s Afternoon Tea menu. Both savoury and sweet delights are available with a choice of coffee or tea. Two people can share a set menu for HK$438 or choose their favourites with the a la carte menu. Whether it’s Fried Coronation Chicken Sandwich, English Scones, or the Daily Cake Selection, there’s a little something for everyone. Guests can also indulge themselves with a selection of prosecco-based cocktails and mocktails.

The return of timeless classics

Old regulars will be thrilled to hear that some items from the previous iteration of Jimmy’s Kitchen are coming back. The beloved Escrgot (HK$208) is one such dish, served with mashed potatoes and homemade parsley garlic butter. Jimmy’s Beef Wellington (HK$988) is another classic that was dearly missed. The Chicken Pie (HK$258), filled with chicken, braised leeks, green peas, and bacon with a puff pastry crust, is also joining the a la carte menu. Returning customers can savour these dishes once again while reminiscing the old days of the establishment. Meanwhile, new guests can experience the legacy of Jimmy’s Kitchen firsthand with these new menus. Book your table online to try the new offerings.
