The viral Swiss-Italian restaurant Nocino is expanding into Kowloon with a new location in Kwun Tong. The new shop is opening on November 1, with exclusive offers that appeal to office workers during lunch and after work.
Nocino is finally opening a new branch, this time in Kwun Tong. Its first location in Tai Hang went viral for its beef tartare and handmade pasta. Afterwards, the restaurant opened a pop-up in BaseHall so more customers could try its food. Now, it’s making its first foray into Kowloon.
“Kwun Tong has long needed more culinary variety, and we’re thrilled to bring Nocino to this area. It’s a chance for us to share our passion for Swiss-Italian cuisine with more diners while also offering convenient, freshly made, and high-quality meals to the office crowd,” says Matthew Ziemski, founder of Nocino. “We hope this new branch will be a go-to spot for both casual lunches and after-work gatherings, just as we’ve seen in Tai Hang.”
Exclusive offers in Nocino Kwun Tong
Situated in the developing business district, the new branch provides a culinary haven for nearby office workers. Lunch deals offer a mid-day break for the hardworking people in the area. Handmade pasta dishes like the Ox Cheek & Pickled Walnut Ragù Pappardelle (HK$178) and the Brown Crab Cacio E Pepe Bucatini (HK$188) are still available in this branch. Other favourites like the Veal Tongue Tonnato (HK$118) and Malakoff (HK$68) are also not to be missed.
Additionally, from Monday to Friday, customers can enjoy the Sundowner deal for some after-work relaxation. The new Nocino Kwun Tong will be the first time the brand offers draft beer on tap. Guests can also pair their meal with cocktails like the grapefruit-infused Ticino Spritz (HK$98) or the Grotto Negroni (HK$98) with Nocino Coffee Vermouth. Or, experience rare Swiss wines like the sparkling white Brivio Vini Brut, Merlot & Pinot Blanc (HK$658) or the Gialdi Sassi Grossi Red Merlot (HK$858). The team is also constantly sourcing more Swiss wines, providing a seasonal curated selection to make each visit unique.
More about the new location
The new shop features a more spacious setting, seating up to 30 guests at a time. However, it still has the same warmth and grotto aesthetics that returning guests have come to know and love. Wood accents, antiques, and large mirrors decorate the space. Customers can also dine while enjoying the fresh air in the small outdoor area. A vibrant mural by local Hong Kong artist Cath Love graces the façade. Created together with her art studio, Club Third, the design sends out a message of warmth and creativity that welcomes diners.
Nocino Kwun Tong will officially open its doors on November 1. Newcomers and regulars alike are welcome to experience Nocino’s Swiss-Italian cuisine in the new and relaxed setting. Book your table at the new branch by reserving online.
