For our next installment of Send Location, we visit VERDY’s VISTY PLAYGROUND pop-up at Pacific Place.
Returning following his collaboration with ComplexCon Hong Kong earlier this year, VERDY’s activation revolves around his latest character, VISTY, which was conceived during the pandemic to bring joy to people during challenging times. Aiming to be family-friendly, the renowned Japanese graphic artist transforms the multi-story freespace into a vibrant carnival-themed playground. Look for his VISTY character to appear as a mascot from time to time!
VISTY PLAYGROUND is found in the character’s multi-pastel hues featuring a large ball pit that occupies the center of Garden Court in Pacific Place, photo booth featuring custom banners by VERDY, and exclusive merchandise curated in collaboration with Kevin Poon. The merch spread is found at a pop-up booth across from the new BBC/ICECREAM store featuring exclusive crop tees, tote bags, washed sweaters, graphic tees, and the first issue of THIRTY 3 MAGAZINE which VERDY serves as Editor-in-chief.
VERDY’s VISTY PLAYGROUND pop-up will be open to the public from October 10 to 27.
