The Kowloon MTR Station is reopening its in-town check-in service. Airport Express passengers can check in for their flights at Kowloon Station without having to go to the airport beforehand. This service is available starting from June 6.
The in-town check-in service provides travellers with dedicated check-in and baggage handling arrangements. It is only available to Airport Express passengers flying with participating airlines. The service reopened in Hong Kong Station in July last year, and it is now at Kowloon Station too.
In-town check-in service at Kowloon Station
The in-town check-in service at Kowloon Station is now available for those flying Cathay Pacific and Hong Kong Airlines. The service operates from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. Additionally, the station has six smart check-in kiosks and two self-service bag drop counters. Passengers with valid electronic travel documents can check-in up from 24 hours to 90 minutes before their flight. If you’ve completed online check-in, then you can also use the smart check-in kiosks to print your boarding passes and baggage tags.
Expansions and special offers
The in-town check-in service at Hong Kong Station has expanded to include Hong Kong Airlines. This expansion was made available from June 7, from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Meanwhile, the Cathay Pacific counter at Hong Kong Station is open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. In the future, the service might include other airlines as well.
To celebrate the reopening of the service at Kowloon Station, the MTR Corporation is offering a special promotion from June 6 to July 5.
