Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In breaks box office records in Hong Kong
Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In has surpassed the records set by courtroom drama A Guilty Conscience last year. It received 1.53 million viewers although it still remains the highest-grossing film, netting HKD 115 million during its entire run. However, if Twilight of the Warriors gets more watchers, it may soon overtake its sales record.
Despite the success of Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In, the Hong Kong Box Office Ltd. highlighted that the ticket sales for the first half of the year have decreased from the same period as last year. The ticket sales for both local and international films only stood at HKD 640 million.
Other films that performed well at the box office include The Moon Thieves, We 12, and Rob and Roll. Meanwhile, overseas films such as Dune: Part Two, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, Kung Fung Panda 4, and Spy x Family Code: White also grossed well.
