Disneyland Hong Kong has announced an increase in ticket prices effective September 25, 2024. Some ticket categories will see a price hike of up to 13 percent, while others will remain relatively unchanged.
To help offset the increased costs, Hong Kong Disneyland is offering limited-time discounts for groups and annual pass holders.
Hong Kong Disneyland ticket prices: What has changed?
Price hike
- The one-day ticket that practically every tourist in Hong Kong buys will now cost 5 to 6 percent more! The cheapest ticket in this category is now HKD 669 per adult (4.6 percent extra) and HKD 499 for children (5 percent extra).
- The “Tier 4” one-day ticket, which facilitates visits during high season and popular days, will cost HKD 939 for an adult and HKD 705 for children. However, Disneyland will continue to offer one-day tickets to residents aged 60 or above with JoyYou cards for HKD 100.
- The annual membership fee will be hiked by 3 to 13 percent. Platinum Magic Access, the top-tier annual pass of Hong Kong Disneyland, will cost HKD 4,998 for adults, and HKD 3,748 for students and children.
Hot deals
- Returning visitors will benefit from several discounts for the annual pass. Visitors buying three or more Magic Access will get a 15 percent discount, saving up to HKD 3,066.
- The park is offering up to 30 percent discount to customers who renew their annual membership.
- Four adults with “Tier 3” tickets will save HKD 840, as it is priced at HKD 2,556.
- The threshold for the elderly has also been lowered to 60 years, reported South China Morning Post.
