2NE1 debuted in 2009 with members Bom, CL, Minzy, and Dara. Ever since debuting, the quartet already had a lot going for them. They are one of the most successful Korean girl groups and one of the leading figures of the Korean wave.

They released their debut EP ‘2NE1’ with the chart-topping hits ‘Fire’ and ‘I Don’t Care’. The latter won the MAMA Award for Song of the Year. With that, they became the first group to receive a daesang (grand prize) in the same year that they debuted.

The group continued to be active over the years. Their final studio album ‘Crush’ became the first album from a Korean artist to land in the top 100 of the US Billboard charts. However, their career came to a halt when Minzy announced her departure in 2016. Eventually, the group disbanded in November of that year. They released one final song ‘Goodbye’ in January 2017.

Despite their disbandment, the group reunited in April 2022 to perform for the first time at Coachella. This year, they got together again for their 15th anniversary and will embark on a global tour.

We can’t wait for the 2NE1 concerts in Hong Kong and Macau.
