Taeyang The Light Year Tour in Malaysia 2024: Ticket prices, setlist, and more

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, Malaysian VIPs have been in a frenzy after Taeyang of BIGBANG announced his return to Malaysia this December 2024 for his ‘The Light Year’ tour. Set to perform at Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, the K-pop icon will take the stage once again, performing solo hits like Eyes, Nose, Lips, Wedding Dress, and I Need A Girl.

Though he last graced Malaysia at the 2023 Borneo Sonic Music Festival, it’s been seven long years since his last solo concert here, during the unforgettable ‘White Night World Tour’ in 2017. And with tickets finally unveiled by Dream Factory Entertainment after a month of suspense, the stage is set for an unforgettable night under the stars with one of K-pop’s biggest trailblazers.

Taeyang’s concert in Malaysia is set to take place at the Axiata Arena on 7 December 2024, with the show kicking off at 5 PM MYT. Ticket prices range between RM398 and RM998, and fans can secure their tickets starting from 11 AM MYT on 7 October 2024 through ETix Malaysia’s official website.

For those who want to go all out, VIP and VVIP packages are available. The VIP package, priced at RM898, includes a VIP laminate and lanyard, along with priority access to the merchandise lane. Meanwhile, the VVIP package, priced at RM998, offers additional perks that include exclusive access to the soundcheck party and a 1:10 chance at a photo op with Taeyang himself—reserved for only 100 lucky fans.
