Live entertainment fans will potentially feel the pinch in their wallets and The Reason is how many global acts are scheduled to mark their arrival on local shores in 2025. Famed American 1990s rock band Hoobastank is no exception, having just announced that they will be performing a concert in Malaysia as part of their upcoming tour of the Asian continent. Hoobastank concert in Malaysia: Venue, ticket prices, and other details
The announcement was confirmed earlier yesterday by Malaysian event organisers Banyak Bagus Entertainment, with the quartet expected to take the stage at Zepp Kuala Lumpur on 10th February 2025. Ticket sales are expected to commence on 18th November 2024 from 12PM MYT onwards, and can be accessed through the Event Bee website here.

Best known for some of the genre’s most defining singles that charted in the late 1990s to early 2000s, Hoobastank (often stylised as h∞bastank) was first founded in Agora Hills, California. Their debut lineup, consisting of vocalist Doug Robb, guitarist Dan Estrin, Markku Lappalainen, and Chris Hesse, first gained prominence playing on the Colbat Cafe schedule with fellow rock acts Incubus and Linkin Park.
Releasing their self-titled debut album in 2001, which contained the singles Crawling in The Dark and Running Away. But of course, mainstream fans will most likely remember them for their second and most successful output, The Reason. Featuring the single which shares the same name as the album, it peaked at number 3 on the Billboard 2o0 charts before going double platinum. This was followed by a series of other projects, including an acoustic album as well as four additional studio releases, the most recent of which being 2018’s Push Pull.
