There is some fantastic news for music fans in India. The much-awaited third edition of Lollapalooza India is confirmed to return to the country’s financial capital Mumbai in 2025. The festival, which has a starry lineup, will not take place at the end of January like the first two. Instead, this time around it will be held in March. The venue has not been disclosed yet. The last two editions were held at the iconic Mahalaxmi Racecourse.
The official social media handles of Lollapalooza India announced the news. Accompanying a promo image, the caption promised “something stellar in store” for music fans in India.

What is Lollapalooza India 2025?
A multi-day music festival held in Mumbai, India, it originates from the American version that began in 1991. And much like the American original, which also gave birth to local editions in Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Germany, France and Sweden, it features an eclectic mix of artists from disparate genres, including rock, hip-hop and electronic, from India and around the world. More than 30 artists from India and around the world are expected to perform across four stages in the third instalment.
Th artist line-up for Lollapalooza India 2025 is making us extremely excited and we expected no less judging by the previous lineups for the first and second editions. Lollapalooza India 2023 and 2024 featured globally known music acts such as Imagine Dragons, Cigarettes After Sex, Sting, Jonas Brothers, Halsey and OneRepublic.
Who all will perform in Lollapalooza India 2025?
In 2025’s edition of the festival, the headliners include globally renowned musicians, including Canadian singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes, iconic rock band Green Day, English singer Louis Tomlinson, and many more. And if that weren’t enough, we will also get to witness Hanumankind, the Indian rapper hailing from Kerala who became an overnight global sensation thanks to the release of his song “Big Dawgs”.

What are the dates and venue for Lollapalooza India 2025?
The event will be held from 8 to 9 March, 2025, in Mumbai. While the venue is not confirmed yet, we will not be surprised if Mahalaxmi Racecourse, which served as the venue for the last two editions, makes a return.
When and how can I book Lollapalooza India 2025 tickets?
According to Rolling Stone India, the early bird tickets will go live tomorrow, 5 September, 2024, on BookMyShow, the official ticketing partner as well as co-producer through its live entertainment arm, BookMyShow Live. Bookmark this link to grab your tickets as soon as possible once they go live tomorrow as the early bird tickets are expected to sell very quickly.
As per the BookMyShow website, there are four categories of tickets: GA, Lolla Comfort, Lolla VIP and Lolla Platinum tickets. The prices begin at INR 5,999.
