World Gourmet Festival at Anantara Siam Bangkok

24-29 September, times vary

16 chefs with combined total of 30 Michelins stars are flown in from all over the world to converge for six days at the Anantara Siam Bangkok for this year’s World Gourmet Festival. For the duration of the event, every dining venue of the hotel will be taken over by culinary talents, and the bar will be hosting their own guest shifts throughout the days. It will be a unique opportunity to sample the talents of chefs Viki Guenes of Zilte, Jimmy Lim of JL Studio, Stefan Stiller of Taian Table, and more.

Niko Idham Kholid of Between The Sips guest shift at The Loft Bangkok

26 September, 8-11pm

With sustainability in mind, Between The Sips is Jakarta’s drinking spot where tradition clashes with modernity, using contemporary techniques and local ingredients to create a bold palate of flavours. Hear (and taste) all about it as Niko Idham Kholid takes over the bar at The Loft Bangkok for one night only.

‘Santo Slam’ wrestling showdown at El Santo Bangkok

26 September, 8.30pm onwards

Let’s get ready to rumble, for the infamous Santo Slam is coming back to El Santo. Setup Thailand Pro Wrestling will be providing a lively show — and you can bet on the winner for a chance to take home fabulous prizes. DJs are also on standby to make sure the vibes are on point, and Chef Daniel’s signature dishes are perfect to accompany all the action. Tickets already include one complimentary drink.

Opera walk-and-sing performance at Maria Bar

27 September, 8pm onwards

Let sparks fly through the air as soprano and tenor duo Pin Sasinee and New Kittin come to Maria Bar to spread the joy of opera with their immaculate harmonies in a walk-and-sing performance. Arrive early for Maria Bar’s signature dishes, and their drinks are sure to go well with the live music.

‘Vino Vibes’ wine tasting at W Lounge

27 September, 6-11pm

Brazilian carnival party at Havana Social

28 September, 6pm onwards

Havana Social is transporting us to Rio for one special evening. Their Brazilian carnival kicks off with free-flow drinks and free entry from 6-7pm, sounds of Brazilian and Latin beats from the DJ booth, along with Brazilian performances and live shows happening till late.

Gigi Doggies Brunch x Soulsalt Studio at Gigi Eatery Ekkamai

28-29 September, 12-5pm

Brunch is going to be extra long and extra fun with an activities-filled brunch session at Gigi Eatery Ekkamai. Your four-legged friends will get to enjoy a free ice cream with every booking, while you chomp down brunch favourites, a few drinks, and treat yourself to a painting workshop courtesy of Soulsalt Studio.

Samlor takes over F*nkytown

29 September, 6-10pm

Thai people know well that you need a little bit of food when you drink. That’s how fried chicken knuckles run out so fast at every table when Thais really drink. From the kitchen of Samlor, Head Chef New Siripon Suthichoti is taking over F*nkytown for one evening, bringing in a food menu that will keep you wanting more. Highlights include the Smoked Duck Breast with Palo Sauce, and the chef’s take on the Moo Ping. The ever-f*nky Pae Ketumarn will also be serving up cocktails inspired by Samlor’s dishes.

Tattoo workshops and Harley-Davidson caravan at Moxy Bangkok

29 September, 11am onwards

Moxy Bangkok is organising a one-day event welcoming all tattoo enthusiasts and Harley-Davidson appreciators, so they could somewhere other than Jack’s Bar. There will be a tattoo contest, workshops throughout the day, DJs behind the station, a Harley-Davidson caravan showcasing their best, and more. Entry is free of charge, and food is available throughout the day at a cost.
