From the acclaimed Maha Restaurant, Melbourne, Shane Delia is a familiar face in the restaurants business. With his “Unrestricted Middle Eastern Cuisine,” he set out to elevate Middle Eastern flavours with modern techniques, which you can try out at Siam Kempinski for a limited time. Highlights include Macaroon Bil Toum made with Hokkaido Scallops and pine nut burnt butter, Roasted Coral Trout served with spiced Shirazi and orange reduction, and his Dry-aged Duck Breast.

Alternative pop rock night at Bar251
24 October, 10pm-midnight
Ekkamai’s favourite live music spot Bar251 is switching things up from the usual smooth jazz to the energetic sounds of alternative pop rock performed by Run Baby Run for one night only. Capacity is very limited, so grab your friend and book in advance.

BKK Plant-Based Fair 2024 at the EmQuartier
25-27 October, 10am-10pm
Here’s a fair for those looking to support the cruelty-free lifestyle. The event features over 40 vegan food stalls and products to take home, cultural shows, workshops, live music, and a whole lot more. Located on G Floor, entry is completely free of charge.

Backyard pizza and wine party at Chim Chim

Chim Chim is taking advantage of the slightly cooler time of year and throwing a backyard party. They’re serving up five hours of artisanal pizzas from their kitchen along with wines from Wine Garage. Guests can also compete in the wine pong section, and vibe to the DJ spinning throughout the night.

Art Battle Bangkok: Live painting showdown at The Fig Lobby

Art Battle Bangkok is back at The Fig Lobby. 12 talented artists face off for the grand prize. They’ll be paired off and provided just 20 minutes to create a better piece than their opponents. If you like it, there will be a silent auction to take home these original art works.

‘A Tour in Spain’ Spanish wine dinner at IGNIV

Curated by Head Chef Arne Riehn, the special dinner at IGNIV takes you on a tour through the wine regions of Spain, including Cava, Rueda, Gran Canaria, Rioja Alavesa, and Tenerife. Each of the five courses will utilise the restaurant’s Swiss cuisine they’re known for, along with local Thai ingredients, paired with a Spanish wine.
