‘Friends of Mia – Next Gen’ series featuring six sommelier and four chefs

31 October, 5pm onwards

It’s the grand finale of this year’s ‘Friends of Mia – Next Gen’ series, and they’re doing it huge. Chefs Top and Michelle of Mia will be joining hands with Chef Riley Sanders from Canvas and Chef Dimitrios Moudios from Ore. Pairing with the dishes are delectable wines curated by Morgan Daniel from Villa Frantzén, Shane Vallerie Jamilla Pangan from Mia, Thanakorn Bottorf from INDDEE, Guillaume Celante from the Wine Merchant, DK from Canvas, and Marco de Ramos Dinglasan from Baan Tepa.

The Japanese Fair at The Okura Prestige Bangkok

1-3 November

The annual Japanese Fair is back at The Okura Prestige Bangkok, bringing the essence of the Land of the Rising Sun to the Big Mango, featuring a lot of collaborations. Experience an afternoon tea session with Mezzaluna, matcha tea pairing, themed brunch, tempura omakase, six-hands dinner, workshops, and so much more.

Bangkok Bar Show 2024

1-3 November, 1-8pm

Whether you’re in the industry, a home bartender, or a cocktail enthusiast, everyone is welcome. Bangkok Bar Show 2024 will be taking place at the Royal Bangkok Sports Club. Surrounding the main show and seminars, there will also be a series of guest shifts and parties every evening. If you don’t know where to start, we have a full guide.

Dia De Los Muertos at Paradise Lost Bangkok

1-2 November, 5pm onwards

The Day of the Dead hits rooftop bar Paradise Lost Bangkok as live DJs and percussionists hit the stage. Special themed food and drinks will be available for the event, and if you’re looking for a something more immersive, visit their sugar skull painting station and take your creation home. When it’s time to honour the dead, you might as well do it with style.

Joel Poon of Reka Bar guest shift at Bar Us

2 November, 9pm-midnight

No. 41 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024, Kuala Lumpur’s Reka Bar utilises the four pillars of salt, fat, acid, and heat to create their cocktails. Get a glimpse of their creations as Co-Founder and Bar Manager Joel Poon comes to Bangkok to take over Bar Us for one night only.

Day of the Dead celebration at Ojo

2 November, 8pm onwards

What better way to celebrate Dia de los Muertos than with some mouthwatering Mexican cuisine? Those visiting Ojo for the event can enjoy unlimited tacos, appetisers, and canapes, along with two drinks for just THB 1,250. Plus, Chef Billy Otis from Taqueria Super Macho, Hong Kong, with be joining hands with the Ojo team, while a guest bartender from The Wise King, Hong Kong, will be shaking up a storm at the bar.

Office Syndrome Summit 2024 hosted by PYONG Rehabilitation Clinic at Gaysorn Tower

3 November, 2-5pm

Office syndrome comes for many of us in Thailand, especially for those who are working 9 to 5 (what a way to make a livin’). PYONG Rehabilitation Clinic is celebrating their first anniversary by hosting a summit with a panel of six specialist doctors to provide information and ways to combat office syndrome. Entry is free of charge, but registration is encouraged due to limited capacity.

Take a bite of the wagyu toast topped with Oscietra caviar and cured egg yolk, try the Beef Consommé made with Infinite Wagyu Ribeye MB9+, or treat yourself to a whole one-kilo of Infinite Wagyu Tomahawk MBS9+. Available for both lunch and dinner.

‘Chef Xia’s Hometown Cuisine’ special menus at Man Ho Bistro

Until 30 November, 11.30am-10pm

We’re a man ho for Man Ho Bistro’s Cantonese flavours. Senior Sous Chef Xia Yue Shan is crafting special menus with tastes straight from his hometown and premium ingredients. Highlights include home-style boiled pig’s feet, goose intestine with fresh Sichuan peppercorns and soy sauce, stewed Australian beef ribs with radish, and many more. Available for a limited time only.
