This would be followed by two subsequent album releases, How To Be A Human Being and Dreamland, that were similarly lauded by critics. The latter was especially noteworthy for spawning Glass Animal’s most notable hit single to date, Heat Waves, after it gained viral prominence on TikTok. Accumulating three billion streams on Spotify, it would also spend a record-breaking 91 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making it the longest charting song on the list’s history.
