Kenji’s Lab’s 12th anniversary celebration

Happy birthday, Kenji’s Lab. They’re turning 12 this week, and they’re celebrating it big. For every THB 2000 spent, you’ll get one shot at the lucky draw with prizes including merch, cash vouchers, free ramen, and more. Many spirits also have special deals, both by glass and by the bottle.

From Chiang Mai to Bangkok, Bartender Yim and Owner Pim of Gladwell Cocktail Bar will be taking over The Pickwicks Chronicles for one night only. They’re known for being a cozy, atmospheric cocktail place in Chiang Mai, and they’ll be kicking things up in high gear for the evening.

Meck Saran and Por Bhanuwat of Root Bar guest shift at 1575Haus
13 November, 7pm onwards
The bartenders of Root Bar normally do bespoke cocktails by request, so what happens when they bring their own menus? Try them all as Meck and Por of Root Bar take over the stations at 1575Haus for one evening only.

‘Very Warm Wishes’ Christmas takes over Central Embassy
13 November – 5 January
Christmas comes early at Central Embassy — the whole department store is being taken over by artist Lucas Zanotto with his whimsical characters. Shop eco-friendly products in their Christmas market, join in on workshops happening weekly, get lost in the Christmas magic with live carols, and so much more.

Leclerc Briant champagne dinner at IGNIV Bangkok
14 November, 6pm onwards
IGNIV features award-winning dishes with flavours rooted in Swiss origins, and good champagne elevates any experience. Join Head Chef Arne Reihn as he serves up five courses of the restaurant’s signature sharing-style menu, paired with champagnes by Leclerc Briant. The highlight of the event is the Abyss cuvée, a champagne that has been aged 60 meters deep in the Atlantic Ocean for 18 months.

‘Cross Culture Weekend’ South Asia bar and kitchen takeovers at The House on Sathorn
15-17 November, 6pm onwards
Cross Culture Weekend is back at The House on Sathorn, now with South Asian talents taking over the premises. Vikas Kumar of PCO, Delhi, will be doing a guest shift at the bar on the 15th, Santanu Chanda of Home, Delhi, and Jairaj Singh Solanki of Lair, Delhi, on the 16th, and Rajani Malla of Barc, Nepal, and Don Ransinghe of Smoke & Bitters, Sri Lanka, on the 17th. Meanwhile, food from Chef Rahul Myron Remedios of Jamon, India, will be available to order until 11pm.

Depp and Fongbeer of Rabbit Hole guest shift at The Backroom BKK
15 November, 8pm onwards
Rabbit Hole just unveiled their new menu, and now they’re on the road to Sathorn area to take over the bar at The Backroom BKK for one night. As you enjoy their drinks, order some bar bites from the kitchen — they’re known for seasonal seafood using Thai catches.

‘Chefs for Valencia’ charity brunch at el Willy
17 November, 12-4pm
Dine for a good cause. Chefs and more from around Bangkok are gathering together to organise a charity event with proceeds going to those affected by the natural disaster in Valencia.
