Tesla has just released the full breakdown of its newest Model 3 Performance.
Improving on the previous version in several departments, this new version ups the power, aero, handling, energy consumption efficiency, and comfort. Its new 0-60 mph time is 2.9 seconds with a top speed of 163 mph. This is all possible with the new Performance 4DU system that gives the EV 510 horsepower and 546 lb-ft (741 Nm) of torque.
This new 4th gen delivers 22% more continuous power, 32% more peak power, and an additional 16% more peak torque compared to its predecessor. For handling and comfort, its newly-updated aero sees a 5% reduced drag and 36% lift reduction with a 55% improvement in front-to-rear lift balance. Keeping you glued to your seat under cornering are new sports seats that are comfortable enough for everyday use but with much better lateral support for cornering and dynamic driving.
For those using this as a daily, the new Model 3 Performance can be changed with Supercharging Max (250 kW Max) for 15 minutes to deliver 142 miles of range. This will launch first in the States for $40,490 where deliveries begin in May. There’s no HKD price yet as the previous version is currently the only ones listed. Head to Tesla for more info.
