Located in the heart of the city, Curvistan Bangkok is a café, bar, lounge, and gallery showcasing collections from Porsche‘s universe meticulously curated by Stefan Bogner, founder of Curves Magazine, and various local curators including Chanond Ruangkritya, an entrepreneur and dedicated Porsche enthusiast. Among the rarities shown at the moment are a classic Porsche 928, a 911 GT, and relics stretching back to the ‘70s from Porsche Design.
“It’s more than just a place, it’s an open space where the Porsche community can connect, share their passion, and see their dreams come to life,” said Stefan Bogner, Founder and Creative Director of Curves Magazine. “Curvistan offers a unique blend of coffee shop, automotive and art gallery, and concept store, providing a vibrant experience for all Porsche enthusiasts. This was achieved through collaborations with distinguished local curators, each a specialist in their field, ensuring every element of Curvistan works in perfect harmony. I am thrilled to celebrate another milestone for Curvistan in this prime location of Bangkok, Thailand.”
Finding a home at Sukhumvit 38, just a few steps away from BTS Thonglor Skytrain station, the Porsche clubhouse is positioned to be a hotspot for passionate drivers and design enthusiasts, with many exciting events and experiences to come. The inaugural exhibition currently showing is “Porsche: A Design Manifesto” which explores the design philosophy behind the Porsche brand, from its cars and wearables to its tech and skyscrapers. Look for the gallery space to present new showcases every two to three months.
Curvistan is supported by Porsche Thailand and Porsche Asia Pacific, which are responsible for the venue’s Porsche Lifestyle Boutique. Other partners include Das Treffen, the largest Porsche community in the APAC region, and Socrates Delicious Syrup Company, a major player in Bangkok’s nightlife scene. IMPACT Exhibition Management, the group behind The Coffee Academics supplies all things caffeine-related, and VITRA curates the furniture and lifestyle pieces in collaboration with NORSE Republics.
For auto and design enthusiasts planning to make a trip to Bangkok, a visit to Curvistan is a definite must.
