Singapore’s Yoga Movement lands in Hong Kong at the heart of Central

It’s time to get your heart rate up because the Singapore-born Yoga Movement has landed in Hong Kong. The brand aims to revolutionise our city’s fitness scene with its fitness-focused and spiritually agnostic approach to yoga. Its first studio in Hong Kong is now open at the bustling heart of Central in H Queen’s.

The fitness-lifestyle brand was founded by former singer-songwriter Alicia Pan in 2012. It prides itself on providing high-quality workouts with a community-oriented atmosphere. After 12 years of captivating the Singapore market, the fitness-lifestyle brand is now making its first move beyond its hometown.

“We saw lots of similarities between Singapore and Hong Kong. With people being in the thick of the hustle and bustle on the daily, there is always that longing for short bursts of respite,” said Alicia Pan. “We want to provide that space where people can call their second home, where they can walk through our doors and feel a sense of warmth and community. We are not just yoga, we are a lifestyle.”

What to expect from Yoga Movement in Hong Kong

The first Yoga Movement studio in Hong Kong boasts a 4,000 sq. ft space overlooking the views of Central. Community members can take classes in the large practice room fit for 34 mats or a more intimate room with 16 mats. Members can use the chill-out lounge to socialise before and after classes. Of course, there are also changing rooms for men and women, equipped with lockers and shower rooms with towels provided.

The inaugural Hong Kong location offers up to seven class types. These classes come in a range of difficulties and with hot and non-hot options. Those new to yoga can take beginner-friendly classes, while experienced yogis can challenge themselves with advanced classes. Each class also has its own goals, whether it’s to work up a sweat, unwind and reset mentally, or improve technically. Explore all the class types offered and book classes here.
