Built upon mutual respect and camaraderie, the collaboration between the two leading indie bands has been a long time coming. The first crossover came in the form of an official Sunset Rollercoaster remake of HYUKOH’s 2020 track “Help” followed by OHHYUK’s feature on the Taiwanese band’s track “Candlelight.”
Members of HYUKOH were spotted at Sunset Rollercoaster’s headline show in 2023 and fast forward to today, the 8-track record marks the first full-length album for both bands in four years.
A nickname turned official, the album title AAA has multiple meanings including “good stuff” and “quality assurance.” With Sunset Rollercoaster preparing to embark on its first U.S. tour, it’s also said to be an abbreviation of “Access All Areas” as the bands look to bring their music to listeners around the world.
Tickets officially go on sale at 11 a.m. on August 7 via KKTIX. More details on the collaboration between the two bands and the album can be found here.
