For our next instalment of Send Location, we take a look inside LINE Friends’ NewJeans Hong Kong pop-up store in Causeway Bay.
Located on the B1 level of Hysan Place, the NewJeans pop-up is themed after the girl group’s newest EP, Supernatural. With the “Supernatural” track being NewJeans’ debut Japanese single, the visuals for the album were designed in close collaboration with Takashi Murakami, whose signature flowers dot the store.
To promote their new music in Japan, the group made a series of appearances and fan meetings at the Tokyo Dome earlier in June under the title “Bunnies Camp 2024 Tokyo Dome.” While NewJeans haven’t yet announced a physical stop in Hong Kong, the new pop-up at Hysan Place offers the girl group’s latest merchandise for fans of all ages.
From the Takashi Murakami collaboration are TM/KK x ADOR pins, powerpuff girl keychains, fans, pens, and light sticks. Meanwhile, NewJeans infamous Bunnies mascot appears in the form of furry pouches, eyemasks, neck pillows, and plushies. Whether big or small, fans are sure to find something they like at the pop-up with new merchandise regularly cycling in and out.
While previously accessible exclusively via ticket entry, the shop now accepts walk-ins. Head over before August 25 to grab limited-edition merchandise.
