The Grade 10 Asia Card Show brings some of the rarest cards to Hong Kong

Hong Kong’s Grade 10 Asia Card Show has finally kicked off!

As then implies, this show is brining together the biggest collectors and their rarest cards. In the trading card world, a Grade 10 card represents the highest. There have been a few exceptions with new products from grading companies that are higher than 10, but for the most part, 10 is the standard for highest quality graded card.

From collectible sports cards, TCG, OCG, and unopened boxes, the Grade 10 Asia Card Show has several booths with prized items for show and for sale. There’s even a section with personal items from Alex Fong. The HKD million-dollar collection of NBA memorabilia includes three of his grails: a pair of Jordan-signed 1985 AJ1s, a 1986 Fleer Michael Jordan Rookie Card, and a pair of game-worn sneakers signed by the late Kobe Bryant.

Carvin Chan, Organiser of the Grade 10 Asia Card Show comments: “I collected Dragon Ball Super Cards when I was a kid, and have been re-connected to the world of collectible cards recently! It’s amazing that the global card market, trading game cards have undergone such a big growth and expansion, where collectors in Hong Kong have also dived into this hot trend of collectible cards. However, there isn’t any exhibition dedicated to cards and collectibles. Collectors in this area aren’t being recognised and there is no proper platform for fans to exchange ideas and showcase their beloved collections. The mission of Grade 10 is to become Hong Kong’s annual celebration of collectibles, and to travel to China and other Southeast Asian cities, as the signature touring expo for cards and collectibles in Asia.”

Some of the booths present this weekend include CGC Cards, PSA, Goldin, HobbyX, Home-run, Hong Kong
Trading Card Club (HKTCC), General Card Shop (Hong Kong), Macau Logoman (Macau), Card Hobby (China), JJ Cards (Taiwan), Hobby Stadium (Philippines) and BS Sport Card (Korea).

If you’re into collectible sports cards or TCG (Pokemon, One-Piece, Dragon Ball, Juicy Honey, Yu-Gi-Oh) this is one event you don’t want to miss this weekend at AIRSIDE.
