MGM debuts the works of contemporary sculptor Ren Zhe in Macau

Following an exhibition in Hong Kong, MGM now presents the works of contemporary Chinese sculptor Ren Zhe for the first time in Macau.

Ren Zhe is known for combining traditional Chinese culture with contemporary Western techniques for awe-inspiring artworks. Displayed at MGM Cotai are sculptures of characters from Jin Yong’s martial arts novels sanctioned by Ming Ho Publications Corporation Limited, and works from the artists’ iconic “Warrior” series characterising classic legends including The Eagle-shooting Heroes, The Condor Heroes, The Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre, The Flying Fox of The Snowy Mountain, The Young Flying Fox, and The Duke of Mount Deer.

Also displayed at the exhibition are manuscripts and other commodities including a series of home décor products, “ARTI_DIVINE,” and a series of neo-Chinese apparel, “RE_DIVINE. All of the works paint the vast Jianghu world through Ren’s signature contemporary sculptural storytelling.

The year-round exhibition is now open at MGM COTAI’s M Art Gallery from noon to 8 p.m. daily with docent-guided tours available. While in the city, collectors can also visit the “Jin Yong Wuxia Drama Costumes & Weapons Exhibition” happening in Barra.
