The world’s favourite classical music duo TwoSet Violin just dropped a cryptic post that has driven fans to a panic.
Around midnight, Brett and Eddy surprised fans with a social media post. In it, the two announced their “last piece of content … as TwoSet Violin“. The duo has also seemingly deleted most of their social media posts, including on their personal accounts. Even their YouTube channel isn’t safe — only a handful of their top-performing videos remain. The announcement has left fans shocked and speculating whether the pair are calling it quits.

The violinist duo has since deleted most of their posts from Instagram. Frequent collaborator and violinist Hilary Hahn has also left a supportive comment, saying, “So many congrats on a job well done! And thank you for everything you have done for the musical community. Not just classical! You guys rock.”
Meanwhile, fans have flocked to the comments, expressing their confusion, shock, and disappointment. “IT’S NOT APRIL FIRST IT’S NOT APRIL FIRST IT’S NOT APRIL FIRST IT’S NOT APRIL FIRST,” one comment writes. “We received your message, and kindly decline your request. Go back to [the] practice room,” another fan joked.
TwoSet Apparel, the YouTuber duo’s fashion line, also announced an 11th anniversary sale. In the post, they write that this is “the FINALE of this chapter for TwoSet Apparel”. It encourages fans to grab some merch as it will be their “last chance”. However, many are speculating that this isn’t really the end.

Despite the panic, fans aren’t entirely convinced that the pair are really bidding farewell just yet. After all, Brett and Eddy have been investing a lot of time and effort into their channel as of late and are continuously expanding the TwoSet brand. They have also teased future projects such as an upcoming B2TSM album — which they revealed in our 27 Questions with TwoSet Violin — that is yet to be released. Why would they suddenly give it all up?
People are pointing out the wording of their posts. Specifically, the words “this will be the last piece of content… as TwoSet Violin” and “the FINALE of this chapter for TwoSet Apparel”. Perhaps, instead of disbanding their channel, the two are actually preparing for a rebranding. Some are speculating whether they will rebrand to “TwoSet Academy”, which is mentioned in the plotline of their concerts and tours. There’s even a website for it. Whether this is true or not, we’ll just have to wait and see for further announcements.
