Amazon Prime announced the renewal of the series Reacher for season 4 even before the third season hit the screens. For the unversed, Prime Video announced the release of the third season on 14 May 2024 and it will be based on the seventh book in Lee Child’s acclaimed Jack Reacher series, titled Persuader. Season 3 of the Reacher franchise is set to premiere in 2025.
Notably, in Reacher season 3, Alan Ritchson will reprise his role as the formidable vigilante Jack Reacher, who goes undercover to rescue an informant held captive by a foe from his past. Interestingly, Lee Child will serve as an executive producer for this season. The third instalment is being produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Skydance Television, and CBS Studios.
The Amazon Prime series enjoys an amazing fan base and the same sentiment was echoed by Vernon Sanders, head of television at Amazon MGM Studios. As quoted by Deadline, Sanders said, “Reacher has become a phenomenon that continues to resonate with our global customers beyond our wildest expectations and we are thrilled to bring the series back for an additional season.
The cast members returning for the season set to release in 2025 include Maria Sten, Anthony Michael Hall, Sonya Cassidy, Brian Tee, Johnny Berchtold, Robert Montesinos, Daniel David Stewart, and Olivier Richters.

The announcement comes a week after the streaming giant revealed plans for a spinoff of Reacher, featuring Maria Sten in the lead role. She will return to portray her beloved character, Frances Neagley.
