The most expensive jewellery pieces ever worn by BLACKPINK members

K-pop powerhouse girl group BLACKPINK isn’t just one of the most successful K-pop groups in the world; they have also earned a reputation as some of the most fashionable idols in the industry. The quartet of Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa also endorses multiple high fashion and jewellery brands. They are constantly seen on red carpets and stages wearing some of the most magnificent jewels known to humanity. Let’s look at some of the most expensive jewellery pieces ever donned by the trendsetting BLACKPINK ladies.

While the quartet has agreed to continue performing as a group under YG Entertainment, their solo journeys took different directions last year. Rosé continues to work with YG, while the other members, Jennie, Jisso, and Lisa, have all launched their own labels.

Ever since the short clip of Jennie and Zico recording their new song SPOT! surfaced, the internet has not been able to stop gushing over her voice and style. Moreover, her breathtaking appearance at the Met Gala in a blue Maison Alaia gown confirmed her fashionista status once again. Lisa, however, was recently seen in Paris with her reported boyfriend, LVMH scion Frédéric Arnault. The duo also attended the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix together, where Lisa went on to wave the chequered flag. Meanwhile, Rosé was recently seen wandering the streets of New York with fellow band member Jennie, while Jisoo is all booked and busy shooting her new zombie K-drama Influenza with actor Park Jung Min.

BLACKPINK members continue to be some of the most influential individuals in the Korean fashion industry. Whether on stage, on the red carpet, or at an event, they always manage to seize the day with their seductive charisma and stunning fashion choices. To perfectly accessorise their clothes, the girls often opt for contemporary and elegant jewellery pieces. In celebration of that, we look at all the ultra-expensive jewellery designs we’ve seen BLACKPINK members don.

Jisoo

The global brand ambassador of Dior, Self-Portrait and Cartier is pampered by both brands. Kim Jisoo or Jisoo, the vocalist of the band has repeatedly stunned us with magnificent jewellery pieces from Cartier time and time again. As the brand’s ambassador, the BLACKPINK member has convenient access to even the most expensive and exquisite jewellery pieces, and every time she wears one, it’s a sight to behold.

For a photoshoot with Cartier, Jisoo, who is the face of the brand, wore a USD 251,000 PANTHÈRE DE CARTIER necklace in white gold. The exceptional necklace is adorned with 2 emerald eyes, 17 sapphire dots, 1 onyx nose, and 556 diamonds weighing 17.45 carats. The carats may vary depending on the size of the necklace selected. Jisoo paired the necklace with a USD 145,000 PANTHÈRE DE CARTIER bracelet, USD 86,000 sur(natural) earrings, and a PANTHÈRE DE CARTIER ring.

K-pop queen Jisoo also attended the re-opening party of Cartier Masion Cheongdam among other Korean celebs such as actor Song Kang, Seventeen’s Min Gyu, and Super Junior’s Choi Si Won. She looked stunning in a black mini-dress, which she paired with a PANTHÈRE DE CARTIER necklace worth upwards of USD 200,000. She also wore another white gold PANTHÈRE DE CARTIER ring costing roughly USD 12,400 and a watch priced at around USD 8,400 from the same collection.

Just after becoming a Cartier ambassador, BLACKPINK Jisoo shot a campaign with the high jewellery brand wearing some of the most expensive jewellery pieces from their BEAUTÉS DU MONDE collection. The magnificent multi-crystal diamond necklace instantly caught fans’ interest, with some BLINKs even contacting the business to inquire about the price of the fine jewellery, which they estimated to be approximately USD 3 million. However, that was not the most expensive jewellery piece Jisoo wore during the session. She also wore a diamond emerald necklace reportedly worth USD 8 million, making it one of the most expensive jewellery pieces a K-pop star has ever worn.

Jisoo flew to Thailand to attend a Cartier event, where she instantly became the star of the show, adorned with a Rayuela necklace and earring set. It was later reported that the necklace cost over USD 1.08 million, while the earrings cost over USD 275,000.

At an event in Spain, Jisoo was spotted wearing a stunning sapphire and diamond set from Cartier’s Beautés du Monde collection. According to fan accounts on X (formerly Twitter), the necklace was worth USD 1.73 million, while the earrings were worth USD 270,000.

Rosé

Like her group mates, BLACKPINK’s effortlessly stunning vocalist and dancer Rosé has exceptional taste in pricey jewels. The blonde Saint Laurent muse never fails to leave an impact with her chic fashion choices. As a Tiffany & Co. brand ambassador, she has sported jewellery pieces worth millions of dollars that have made our jaws drop On The Ground.

Rosé, whose full name is Park Chae-young, complemented many of her looks from a cover shoot with W Korea in 2020 using several pieces from the Tiffany Blue Book Collection 2019. Coupled with her light silver hair, her white gold look gave her an ethereal appearance. Rosé also donned a diamond and blue sapphire necklace similar to that worn by actress Charlize Theron at the 2020 Golden Globe Awards. The jewellery reportedly cost Theron approximately USD 885,000. Given that Rosé’s necklace includes two more massive blue sapphires, its estimated price can only be more than that. That was not all; she also wore a stunning platinum diamond cuff and a Sri Lankan sapphire diamond and platinum ring from the Blue Book 2019 collection.

All jewellery enthusiasts know of Tiffany & Co.’s yellow diamond neckpiece, which was famously gazed at by Audrey Hepburn in the iconic opening scene of Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Rosé has yet to dazzle the audience with that piece, but she did wear a similar Tiffany Golden Star necklace to promote the brand’s yellow event, paying homage to the artist. The necklace she wore was made of platinum and 18-carat yellow gold, containing about 70 carats of beautiful white diamonds cut in pear, marquise, and round shapes. But nothing takes attention away from the focal point, which is, of course, a 21-carat, beautiful bright yellow diamond. The beautiful stone came from Botswana and was responsibly obtained before being cut and polished in Antwerp.

In 2022, Rosé put on an ivory dress with a long train to attend the Tiffany Blue Book collection launch event in Tokyo. All the celebs wore contemporary, expensive jewellery, and the BLACKPINK member was no exception. The global ambassador of the high jewellery brand posed for photos in the Jean Schlumberger Flower and Leaves Necklace, which is worth USD 2.27 million; in total, Rosé was wearing USD 2.54 million in jewellery.

Lisa

BLACKPINK lead dancer and rapper Lalisa Monobal, also known as Lisa, never fails to charm BLINKs with her incredible talent. The trendsetter BLACKPINK member is also known for her expensive taste in clothes and jewellery, so it’s no surprise that she is the brand ambassador for high fashion labels such as Celine and BVLGARI. Hailing from Thailand, the singer has an incredible fashion sense, and her jewellery choices demonstrate her fine taste.

Lisa wore the stunning BVLGARI Mediterranean Queen Necklace during a photo shoot with the high jewellery brand. The necklace’s design takes its inspiration from a Bvlgari necklace from 1969, which features an intricate gold and diamond construction that resembles sea waves. Five magnificent oval cushion-cut Paraiba tourmalines, comprising approximately 500 carats, are joined by sinuous, curved components set with emeralds and diamonds. The necklace is reported to cost around USD 8,900,000, an exceptionally precious piece considering only one Paraiba tourmaline is found for every 10,000 diamonds.

Lisa attended BVLGARI’s Avrora Awards and even gave an award during the event, recognising exceptional women in various fields. She walked the red carpet in a stunning white Vivienne Westwood gown from the line’s SS2022 collection, accessorised with BVLGARI jewels. Lisa, who is known as the “BVLGARI’s Princess,” donned a stunning Diamond and Emerald Serpenti necklace. The Serpenti necklace is one of the brand’s signature pieces, and it comes in a variety of styles. Hers, in particular, is a yellow gold piece accentuated with white diamonds and emeralds. As the name implies, the centrepiece of the jewellery is a diamond-encrusted snake’s head with emerald eyes. The price of this item can range from USD 258,000 to USD 313,000. Lisa paired her necklace with a matching Diamond and Emerald Serpenti Bracelet with a price tag of USD 295,000.

And that’s not the end of expensive BVLGARI jewellery pieces that BLACKPINK Lisa has sported on different occasions. Lisa also sparked a buzz on the internet in 2021 when she shared a picture of herself wearing the BVLGARI Ruby and Diamond necklace from 1950. The USD 960,000 necklace isn’t the only piece of bling she’s wearing in the photo; Lisa further accessoried with a matching diamond-ruby necklace and ring, also from BVLGARI.

Jennie

Jennie, also known as Jennie Ruby Jane, is responsible for starting many fashion trends in South Korea. The lead rapper of the group is also the brand ambassador of Calvin Klein and Chanel. Even though her style never fails to captivate, she hasn’t been shown wearing a lot of ultra-expensive jewellery pieces, preferring lightweight accessories with her city-girl aesthetics.

Jennie dressed head-to-toe in Jacquemus for a Harper’s Bazaar cover shoot last year, rocking the Princess Diana-inspired triple-strand pearl and sapphire choker that Kendall Jenner first wore on the runway. For season five of Netflix’s historical drama series The Crown, historic jeweller Susan Caplan carefully replicated the necklace for Elizabeth Debicki’s portrayal of the People’s Princess.

As brand ambassador for luxury fashion brand Chanel, Jennie, who is also known as the ‘human Chanel’ modelled the Coco Crush collection 2024. For the campaign shoot, Jennie wore various items from the 18K gold diamond fine jewellery line.
