The Uniqlo UT KAWS + WARHOL collection drops on August 23

It’s a triple-team collab for the Uniqlo KAWS + WARHOL collection that is coming soon.

While KAWS and the Andy Warhol Foundation have been known to release collections under Uniqlo’s UT line of T-shirts, this one joins all three names. Part of the ongoing KAWS + Warhol exhibition at The Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, this three-way release sees KAWS (Brian Donnelly) and his signature characters and styles like the Companion and “XX” eyes joined by Warhol’s iconic visuals like the Moon Explorer Robot and the Banana graphic. Each item has been priced according to the UT line’s previous price points.

The Uniqlo KAWS + WARHOL collection ranges from HKD 29 to HKD 399 and sees sweatpants, sweatshirts, socks, a tote bag, an art book, coach jackets, and of course, the tees. The tees are relatively simple in colour with small hits of red, blue, and yellow, whereas the coach jacket and sweatshirt have large coloured graphics at the front.

Currently, the collection can be viewed online as “Coming Soon,” but it has officially been announced that the release date for this collection is slated for August 23.
