Heritage outdoors label Goldwin is back to present its Fall 2024 collection. Minimalist and purpose-driven, the new offerings accompany active bodies as they fall into new seasonal rhythms.
Slowing down from the thrills of Summer, the new campaign visuals from Goldwin take us on a short trip to Kamakura, a seaside resort town just south of Tokyo. There, the versatility, comfort, and elegance of the garments are allowed to shine.
With more than 70 years of history, Goldwin has been equipping top-level alpine athletes longer than most of its peers including The North Face and Patagonia. Core to its philosophy is how to integrate innovations from its extreme sports apparel into everyday clothing.
Its use of fabrics is a big distinguishing factor. Many products feature water-resistant textiles such as Pertex Shield Air, GORE-TEX, and recycled
down for sustainable insulation. Cuts are often three-dimensional and seamless to allow for heightened mobility while well-placed insulation and vents offer a subtle yet noticeable improvement in comfort.
The Fall 2024 collection is split into four categories — Outdoor, Lifestyle, Athletic, and the C3fit/Re-Optimum Series — offering new and reimagined silhouettes for every occasion with both entirely.
Highlights include the Re-Optimum Sweatshirt and Sweatpants made with a combination of ultra-fine ceramics blended with Kodenshi fibers to maintain natural body temperatures effectively. The A/L Hybrid Wool T-Shirt designed in collaboration with professional Goldwin athlete Dylan Bowman makes a return and the Windstopper by GORE-TEX Labs sees a tasteful blend of urban minimalism and technical performance.
