South Korean actress Jun Ji-hyun is joining Louis Vuitton as its latest House Ambassador.
Louis Vuitton is adding to its star-studded list of ambassadors. Earlier this year, the French luxury fashion house announced BLACKPINK’s Lisa and South Korean actor Gong Yoo as its House Ambassadors. Now, actress Jun Ji-hyun, a.k.a. Gianna Jun, is the latest celebrity to partner with the Maison as its ambassador.
“Jun’s timeless beauty, undeniable charisma, and sophisticated style have established her as a force in fashion and beyond,” the brand writes in a press release. “Her ability to flawlessly embody both strength and grace through her character and style seamlessly aligns with the womenswear vision of Nicolas Ghesquière, Louis Vuitton’s Artistic Director of Women’s Collections.”

Along with the announcement, Louis Vuitton released a photo campaign featuring the actress. In the images, Jun Ji-hyun is dressed head to toe in the brand’s clothing. Posing with her hair down and a powerful stance, the Legend of the Blue Sea star showcases her poise and elegance. One of the most prominent talents of South Korea
With more than 20 years of work under her belt, Jun Ji-hyun is one of the most renowned actresses in South Korea. Together with Kim Tae-hee and Song Hye-kyo, the three of them are dubbed the “Troika” of K-dramas. Her breakthrough role came with the romantic comedy film My Sassy Girl in 2001. Since then, she has starred in plenty of TV series, films, and web series. Other notable works include The Thieves, My Love from the Star, and The Legend of the Blue Sea. In recent years, she also played Ashin in Netflix’s Kingdom (2020–2021). Jun Ji-hyun will be starring in Disney+’s Korean espionage series, Tempest, alongside Gang Dong-won next year.
