The Wu-Tang Clan x Nike Dunk Hi is coming back after 25 years

The saga continues… Nike and the Wu-Tang Clan are back after 25 long years with the reissue of the coveted Dunk Hi.

One of the hottest shoes of all time among sneakerheads, the grail-tier shoe in all its Black and Pollen glory will be released to the public. Taking up the original “Killa Beez” color blocking layout, this shoe is crafted in premium leather and features the iconic “W” logo embroidery at the lateral side of the heel and on the tongue.

“These Dunks are important to me and the Wu-Tang legacy because of the cultural impact they’ve had since their original release,” says Wu-Tang Clan leader RZA. “For many years, the sneaker world was reserved for athletes and some entertainers, and Nike recognising us in this way is a testament to hip-hop and our contribution to culture.”

If ever there was a colorway that embodied New York’s hip-hop and sneaker culture of the early ’90s, this shoe would be at the top of the list. “The shoe has already carved out a legacy as a silhouette people were striving to possess, and now thousands of people will have a chance to own a pair,” RZA says. “These sneakers are a trophy.”

There’s no news on an in-store release in Hong Kong, but they will be making their first drop appearance on Nike’s SNKRS platform on November 9 and select retail locations in North America.
